Flame of the Forest
"Set your life on fire and seek those who fan your flames"
The above art piece depicts energy, life, glory, victory and nature's gifts to mankind
The poetry of the earth is never dead
It has so far been rare that I connect to a painting that I produced quite as much as I did with I enjoy working on every painting, some I would keep for myself and some I couldn’t wait to show the world and allow someone else to connect and experience the same joy and happiness I felt creating the art piece . Hoping for others to connect with your artwork is a pointless effort, it can only really be seen as you would like if you paint with the intentions of making yourself feel a certain way. Only then, maybe someone else can channel into its meaning or create their own. I love this about art. Production based on feelings gives a timeless result to the artist concerned."Flame of the forest" was a moment for me.I had applied the base layer in Cobalt blue, then gone straight in with a background, to set a tone. It is clear to me that a part of my soul escapes onto a canvas and splashes around the paint to create that final effect displayed.
The art piece includes 2 types of techniques:
1)Thick dripping paint with circular droppings to outline the trees with dry stokes for the branches
2) Rough rendering for the uneven ground depicting earth
"Flame of the forest" shows one to let go of oneself get mindlessly lost in a creation, you effortlessly transfer an aspect of yourself in the work and 'flame of forest' is one such art piece which can easily stand out in a room full of art
Forest fires are rare and very unusual and the birth of this natural calamity maybe due to high atmospheric temperatures and dryness caused due to low humidity, volcanic or human activity.
" And soon the woods were blazing
The fire spread and spread
The trees that took long years to grow
Stand blackened now and dead "
