Eye of Gold
“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection” ― Gautama Buddha
The painting is an artistic depiction of Lord Buddha's face, camouflaged by golden lotus buds split with flashes of the magical colours of Prussian & manganese blue, complimented with eye striking yellow and emerald green paint. The painting enlightens us with a strong message that you too can find your pot of gold if you look beyond yourself. In Japan, damaged objects are repaired with gold, the flaw is seen as a unique piece in the history of the object, adding to its beauty. During my high school years, I experienced a lot of ups and downs and each incident taught me how to become a stronger and a more powerful person. I learned to move people with my excellent advice as well as my expression through art. I was exposed to a variety of people, races, cultures, religions, opinions, etc. This made me understand that though we all come from different backgrounds and varied environments each of us has a deep gold flame burning inside all of us distinguishing each one of us, making us stand out. What may be black for one, may be white for another and vice versa. However, the overall view on the subject matter remains GREY. The inability to see a little black in every white is equivalent to being unable to see remnants of white in all that is black. So let us all find the 'wow factor' in ourselves and somewhat help in improving mankind.
